2026 Theme: The Power of We

 Milwaukee has long celebrated the Fourth of July with community events throughout the city.  Bay View's Humboldt Park festivities are the City's longest running  tradition dating back to 1911.  On 7/4/2026, Humboldt Park will once again host this great American celebration with parades, picnics, games, talent contests, fireworks and more! 

IMPORTANT:

Please note that restrooms INSIDE the pavilion and chalet will be closed - use outdoor porta-toilets.

Park Road is CLOSED all day to through traffic. Accessible parking entry is at S. Pine Ave & Oklahoma

PLEASE CELEBRATE SAFELY

Remember that personal fireworks are illegal in the City of Milwaukee.

NO alcoholic beverages are allowed in Milwaukee County Parks without a permit.

NO driving or parking in the grass without permission/permits from Milwaukee County Parks.

Members & Volunteers are what makes this a GREAT community event, it can't happen without YOU!

March 4th - Discuss celebration, form committees, review by-laws, etc

April 1st - Elect Officers, plan parade, committee status, fundraise opportunities

May 6th - Budget, committee reports, parade updates

June 3rd - Committee Updates, contests, awards/prizes, parade updates, fundraising updates

June 10th - Committee updates, event receipts, parade line-up

June 17th 6:30-9pm - POTLUCK DINNER, fun night, guests welcome, distribute member packets & judges forms

June 24th - Review all events, arrivals times, event times and park clean-up

July 3rd *FRIDAY* 1p - 3:30pm Decorate Pavilion, Prepare Parade totes

July 4th *SATURDAY* 6a- 10p - Humboldt Park's 4th of July Celebration

July 22nd - Officer & Committee wrap-up reports & Election of 2027 Officers
